Hello! Welcome to Yet Another Video Game Blog! Unfortunately, that domain wasn’t available so I had to settle on Talon Trot. 

Talon Trot is a Banjo-Kazooie reference, and I feel like naming this blog after a video game released over 25 years ago is a fair way to set expectations of this place. I play new video games, I own all of the current generation consoles, actually. However, I’ve found myself way more interested in older games lately and having a space to put some of those thoughts into words is the reason I started this site.

My goal for this site is to put my thoughts on video games into words. Pretty simple stuff, really. I will post reviews of games from all eras, lists, and general thoughts on the hobby and my journey through it over the past 30+ years. Yikes, 30, that’s a big number.
